Got (Virtual) plans for Wednesday, February 16?
Now you do!
Every Wednesday at 6 pm EST (online), one of the virtual hosts from Good For Your Soul: A Cooking Show shows us a favorite meal that is healthy, tasty, and easy to make, using what you have at home.
This month they’ll be creating an irresistible dish that honors Black History and Dominican Heritage Month.
The Dominican heritage is a rich tapestry of Spaniard colonists, enslaved Africans, and Taíno natives, and this mix influences everything from music, family, religion, and food.
A lively group known for their sense of humor and love of sharing all things Dominican, these recipes will surely warm your heart and nourish the soul. Dominicans have close-knit families, so gather your loved ones and take a trip to the island through taste and smell.
The next virtual class is Wednesday, February 16, @ 6 pm EST, so sign up here.
If you can’t make it on the 16th, don’t fret. The following Wednesday, Chef Travis continues to celebrate Black History Month in the kitchen–and teaches how he negotiated the ins and outs of financing his home cooking businesses.
